They are available in a range of panel widths with varying seam heights; select the seam height, panel width and options best suited to your job. Click on the architectural color selection chart for available finishes, but request an actual metal sample for final paint and color selection.

Warranties: 35, 20 years & 7 year labor

These Material Warranties from these Manufacturers only cover the Kynar 500 paint finish–with an infrared additive by BASF.

Pros:

Cons:

  • Lightweight, so you don’t need to build a super strong structure
  • Some types don’t require any roof deck

  • Can be pricey-and the Aluminum roofs cost about 30 to 40% more then Steel
  • High winds can blow them off, most have UL 90 mph ratings, the Titan goes up to UL 110mph.

Leakmaster’s Opinion

TStanding Seam roofs like the Titan from Custom Bilt Metals are probably the most durable roofs on the island. They need little maintenance and their Kynar paint is state of the art. Make sure the edges are securely fastened against wind uplift, as that is perhaps the only vulnerable point in this excellent roof. Their hidden fasteners make this style of Metal Roof much more desirable then the standard Corrugated Roofs which need to be inspected and resealed on a regular basis. They are more in price, but worth it if you can afford it.
