Product Use: FLINTLASTIC GMS is designed for use as a roofing membrane over various types of
substrates for both new construction and reroofing installations. It is suitable for most low sloped
roof decks and may be used for roof system flashings including wall treatments, base flashings
and field flashings. |

Limitations: FLINTLASTIC GMS is intended for application using hot asphalt or approved cold
process adhesives such as FlintBond™. Rolls should be stored upright, off ground, completely
protected against weather. Roof decks shall be structurally sound, dry, smooth and meet or
exceed minimum requirements of the deck manufacturer, local code and CertainTeed.

Product Composition and Features: FLINTLASTIC modified bitumen products are manufactured
on state-of-the-art, dedicated roofing lines that were exclusively designed for the production
of modified bitumen products. FLINTLASTIC GMS is produced with a high performance,
non-woven polyester mat which is impregnated and coated with a superior grade, modified
bitumen compound. |

Asphalt roofs are best repaired with fabric re-inforced waterproof coatings. The good news: Do the leaky section this way and you now
have a permanent roofing membrane that can last the lifetime of your
structure. Simply topcoat every 7 to 15 years using only a fraction of the
original material. Repeat indefinately. Later, when the rest of the roof
starts to leak, and your budget permits, you can do those sections also.
They will all tie in together in together beautifully. Instead of wasting
your money with temporary repairs, you are reroofing in increments you can
afford.
